This is the last blog I can write before I leave
Africa. I fly home on the 17th of May and come back on June 8th with the team I am leading. I have to say that God has taken me on a journey of trust, love, brokenness and courage. I am grateful for the times of Pain because it has made my faith and courage rise above the fear and doubt. I am in awe at the way the Lord has opened up doors and allowed me to be in His presence. I love the way He has shown me His heart for the people of
Africa and He has given me the burden prayer for His lost sheep. He is doing a lot that I can’t talk about just yet, I need to get home and tell my family first, but please be in prayer that He will continue to open the doors that need to be opened. God is God and I am learning that He is doing a huge thing here and I love watching Him at work. I have also learned to sit back and rest in His goodness and His love.
I will post again once I am home. Until then please continue to pray for His will to be done and that above all He is glorified!!!

Missing you and can’t wait to see, talk and hug you guys~

Thank you for sharing your heart. I know God has blessed you while there and you are such a willing soul to do His will. I am so proud of you and I know God will give you peace about all you have been through and all He is teaching you. I bet you are getting anxious to see that new baby. I pray you have a safe travel home and back again. Please let me know when you get home and what your future plans are. I love you and pray for you every day.

  5. Hey Baby,

We are counting the days until your return. We can’t wait to put our arms around you and sit and talk, clean house, get ready for Jenns wedding, cook what you want to eat, go for a hike, get instruments out and sing, have a bonfire, go to wedding showers, swim in Ms. Rhondas pool, finish Jenns wedding dress, go to Target…Can we do all that in two weeks?????

    I Love you so!!!!!!!

  6. Hello Heather!

We can’t wait for you to come home! Hopefully, you’ll get to share at one of our “All About Missions” nights and maybe even sing on the praise team one time? You have so many friends and family who want to spend time with you though, so I understand fully how limited your time will be. I love what you said about learning to rest in Him. I still need help with that. God is giving you, Marissa and Anne wisdom well beyond your years. Who knows how HE will use that in the future? I know this for sure…He’s writing a great story with your life, so keep on living it for HIM!!!

    You are loved,
    Scott
