I am here in Africa and I can’t tell you how wonderful it is. I will not lie this will be hard and I know I will have days where I wonder why I even came… But I see God here. I have heard the calling but it is different than being here. The people, the smells, the laughter and sweet hugs. I am in Swazi for now but will be heading into South Africa in a few days, Traveling back and forth trying to see where I need to be. Please be in prayer for me as I seek God and decide where he wants me. Anne who is on my team needs money for a plan ticket, please pray God will provide for her. I loveyou guys and feel great. This is it… I am glad I am able to be here. I will add pictures soon. Please email or post! I need to hear form you. I will post again soon!

  1. Hey Heather!
I’m so bummed that I didn’t get to say “goodbye” before you left. But I’m thankful you are finally doing what God has been preparing you to do. I can’t wait to hear your stories from this chapter in your life. But I also can’t wait till you return! You are loved!

(Lord, honor Your servants Heather and Marissa and Ann as they follow You wherever You lead. May the whole continent of Africa be changed because of their obedience. Keep them safe in Your arms and let them experience You in new ways as they continue in their Divine Romance with YOU!
    Amen)

  2. So glad you are there and safe. We are praying for you constantly. PaPa is doing well. Focus on your calling. We miss you and put you in the Fathers hands. Give Marissa our love.

  3. AWESOME!! We are so proud of you and Marissa. It makes me laugh out loud to think of you over there pursuing what God would have you do. Listen closely and live loudly.
We are praying for you both.

  4. Woohoo!! I am so glad you guys made it there safely. You two are in my prayers and I can’t wait to hear what God has in store for you. I know this has not been an easy journey but your walk of faith has made a powerful impact on so many lives. You guys are oh so loved and missed already. May God continue to bless you and protect you as you continue to follow His calling on your lives. Love you and praying for you!!!

  5. Heather:
I am at once humbled and joyful at the work our Father is doing in your life. May He surround you with His angels, give you His strength for the battle, and use you as salt and light by His great power. Remember how Christ healed the leperHe touched him.
    You are greatly loved,
    David

You were in my payers today and I needed to come read your blog to see where you were. I thought you had not left as yet. I do pray you were able to put the net2phone.com on your computer before you left. If so you can talk to Lynn & TB over the computer and it is so neat. I use it all the time to talk to my daughter in Lebanon. It is free once you get it set up. All you need is a headset with a microphone. I will be in prayer for your safety and God’s will for you while you are gone. Please feel free to write me when you have a chance. We serve an awesome God. I know your heart is to serve and God will use that to Glorify His Holy Name.
    Love and Prayers,
    Grandma White (Lynn’s Mother)

  7. Hey Sister,
I am soooo excited for you. I am doing “Experiencing God” again and one thing that Blackaby keeps emphasizing is to look to see where God is working and get involved. You said that you see God, so just climb on board and listen and obey. I will be praying for you and hope that I can send some money soon. I love you!!! Wish I were with you.
